R.I.P. IRIS

My poor little goldfish has moved on to bluer waters.
We have had Stanley and Iris for over TEN YEARS.
She somehow lost all of her fins and has really been struggling
floating around upside down for a few weeks.
I asked hubby to put her out of her misery as I couldn't stand the
thought that she might be suffering.
He gave her a proper burial in the commode.
Now poor Stanley must be lonely.
I wonder if he would be up to a new Girlfriend...lol
Maybe it is too soon, and I should give him some time to mourn.
